I've wanted a cat for a really long time, and Logan and Archer finally made that dream come true. I think they made my whole family happy too.

Our two cats are 2 years old now. We adopted them in July 2024 when they were just tiny little kittens. When we first brought them home, they were really scared because it was the first time they'd been in a new house. Archer, the brave one, immediately stepped out to explore. Logan was a little more shy and stayed hidden for a while, but eventually he came out to play too. It was so cute seeing them both check out their new home.

Logan: Hair Ties, Snow, and the Screen Door Incident

Logan's favorite toys are hair ties. He goes crazy whenever we throw them across the hall — he chases them like a little tiger, and sometimes Archer joins in, but usually she just watches him.

He also makes the funniest and cutest faces, especially when we take pictures of him. Sometimes he looks super serious, and sometimes he looks super silly, but he's always adorable.

One summer, something wild happened. The screen door was closed, but suddenly it opened. Logan, being the super curious orange cat he is, had climbed up the screen door. We had to pull him down, and I don't think he's ever tried that again.

In February when it snowed, we put Logan's front paws in the snow. He absolutely did not like it. He jumped back so fast, and I couldn't stop laughing.

Archer: The Sneaky One

Archer is cute too, but she's sneakier and more mysterious. Her favorite thing to do is sleep under the blanket between my parents in their bed.

One time, Logan decided to take her spot, and Archer got super mad. She lay down on the other side of my mom at first, but after a little while, she crawled over my mom's legs and started attacking Logan until she got her spot back. It was so funny hearing about it.

Adventures Together

Sometimes in the summer, we like to take Logan and Archer outside. They just wander around a little and explore, which is really cute.

Logan and Archer aren't just cats — they're part of our family. I love watching them grow, play, and even be a little mischievous sometimes. Every day with them is an adventure, and I can't imagine our house without them.
